Professor Amaka Offiah
University of Sheffield, UK

Professor Amaka C Offiah is Chair in Paediatric Musculoskeletal Imaging and Consultant Paediatric Radiologist at the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. She has published extensively and given numerous national and international lectures.

Her main research interest lies in the imaging of suspected child abuse and skeletal dysplasias and in determining which children have fragile bones prone to fracture. Other areas relate to developing artificial intelligence tools for the detection of accidental and inflicted fractures.

Amongst other roles, she is Chair of the International Guidelines for Imaging in Suspected Physical Abuse consensus group and Vice President (Clinical Radiology) of the Royal College of Radiologists, UK.

 

Professor Akshay Chaudhari
Stanford University, USA

Dr. Chaudhari is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Data Science, and is the Interim Division Chief of the Imaging Informatics research section in the Stanford Radiology. Dr. Chaudhari research group develops representation learning and evaluation techniques focusing on large-scale, multi-modal, deep learning models in healthcare that use vision, language, and medical records data. Dr. Chaudhari’s research is funded by the NIH, ARPA-H, and several industry partners. He also serves as the Co-Director of Clinical AI at Stanford Radiology and as the Associate Director of Research and Education at the Stanford AIMI Center. He is a co-founder of Cognita Imaging, which received the first FDA breakthrough status for a generative vision language model.
